According to Defensa Central, the Red Devils are gearing up for a substantial investment in Real Madrid’s top star, Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius Junior, who rose through the ranks at Flamengo before joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2018, has undergone a remarkable transformation into one of the game’s best strikers. Despite limited playing time in the early years, exposure to and learning from big stars has accelerated his progress, making him an indispensable part of the Real squad in recent seasons.
Manchester United has set its sights on Vinicius. Last season, the Brazilian international featured in 55 matches, contributing to 44 goals. In the current season, he has already contributed to 6 goals in 10 appearances. Despite recently committing his future to Real until 2027, sources from Defensa Central suggest that Manchester United is actively pursuing the former Flamengo prodigy.
Specifically, they are willing to offer Vinicius a salary of 20 million euros per year if he accepts the move to Old Trafford—double what he is currently earning in his new contract with Real.
However, this deal may prove to be extremely complicated, as Real sees Vinicius as a key factor in their plans. As for the Brazilian player, he is also reportedly satisfied with his current life at Real Madrid.
